Just A Little About Me…
Hi, I’m Greg Auer, but most people know me as "Happy" because of how my last name is pronounced (like "hour"). I’m a compassionate creative leader with over two decades of experience in helping brands and agencies grow through strategic, innovative thinking. My approach to solving business challenges is rooted in the philosophy of Kaizen—believing that constant positive improvements can lead to exponential business results.
Currently, I’m at Fusion92, where I’ve helped drive $18 million in growth revenue for a $65 million total revenue agency. I lead teams across four offices, working with both in-person and remote teams, always striving to lead with empathy. Before Fusion92, I had the opportunity to work at BBDO Chicago, where I helped grow Aleve’s sales from $250 million to over $400 million by shifting the conversation from take a pill to get out of pain to the pain, of pain management, without any incremental media spend.
As head of creative and brand at Olaplex, I built a socially-driven brand and expanded it into Sephora, creating a new retail revenue stream that brought in $40 million in the first year and $88 million in the second year before the brand was sold to private equity. I’ve always been passionate about building creative cultures, which is why at Fusion92, I release a twice-monthly 4-Minute Happy Auer internal blog. It’s my way of sharing insights on AI and where I see the future of the creative business heading.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working on award-winning campaigns in brand strategy, digital transformation, and experiential marketing, and I’m honored to be recognized as a judge and influencer in the creative industry. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!
